Kuenzang acquired his MBA degree from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University in India. He initially worked at Zhiwa Ling Heritage Hotel shouldering various responsibilities as the Transport Manager, Purchase Manager and Human Resources Manager before getting transferred to the corporate office at Yangphel. He is currently the General Manager overseeing the company Human Resources and Administration as well as the Yangphel Real Estate (Yangphel Housing). Kuenzang is from a small hamlet in the far eastern district of Lhuntse and is the eldest among the four siblings. He believes in loyalty and dedication to work for long term success. His passion is playing football when time permits. His hobby is to sing melodious Bhutanese songs.
