In the shadow of the Himalayas, Six Senses Thimphu is a Bhutanese hideaway with dzong fortress-inspired architecture and uplifting valley vistas. The light-filled rooms are luxuriously appointed with a touch of local flare, including antique-washed rugs, wood-burning stoves from the Bukhari region, and local artwork.  The hotel has 25 rooms, 20 of which are suites.
